My name is Wilhelm Fritzel, owner of Fritzel Flooring. Born and raised in Grand Junction, CO, I am a native to this great state and bring a sense of familiarity. Flooring just so happens to be one of my passions as it was embedded into me by my Father. At a young age, it was always about helping dad and learning from his expertise, work ethic, and drive to be successful that ultimately predetermined my future.
How did we get started?
“Son, hand me that mallet!” Those words all too familiar, it was destined that I would follow the footsteps of my hero. I originally set out to Fort Collins, CO to pursue my degree in Construction Management at CSU. After completing 3 years of 4 year program, I ultimately made the decision to forgo my final year and become full time employed underneath my brother, at Perennial Hardwoods. As my father was the one who planted the seeds in us 3 brothers, it was my older brothers who were the mavericks in showing me the freedom to create, sustain an enjoyable life, and to turn our passions into a career.
My mother showed me the meaning of what adversity meant- not by telling me, but by showing me. I took the leap of faith and found courage to become the owner and beginning of my life’s work in Fritzel Flooring.
I started Fritzel Flooring back in 2017 as it was time to embark on my own business adventure to bring the most quality flooring to the people of Northern Colorado. After 4 years of building this business, I am proud to say we are the premier hard surface installation company in NoCo.
